Iron Removal Media – Manganese Sand
Product Description
Manganese Sand is a specialized filtration media widely used in water treatment systems for the effective removal of dissolved iron, manganese, and turbidity. Composed of high-quality manganese greensand, this media acts as a catalyst in the oxidation–filtration process, converting soluble iron (Fe²⁺/Fe³⁺) into insoluble compounds that can be easily filtered out. Its efficiency and durability make it a trusted choice for municipal, industrial, and residential water purification.
