EN1707 Antiscalant

EN1707 Drinking Water Antiscalant is a food-grade chemical treatment agent specifically designed to prevent inorganic scaling in drinking water systems. It meets water hygiene standards and is suitable for a variety of industrial and municipal applications.

Performance and Use:

  • Controls inorganic scale in water with LSI values up to 3.0 without acid addition
  • Compatible with reverse osmosis (RO), nanofiltration (NF), and ultrafiltration (UF) membranes
  • Excellent solubility and chemical stability
  • Effective for water pH between 5–10

Applications:

  • Municipal water treatment and water plants
  • Pure water, beverage, food, and pharmaceutical plants
  • Wineries and agricultural farms

Technical Indicators:

  • Appearance: Colourless to yellowish transparent liquid
  • pH (1% solution): 2.0–4.0
  • Specific gravity (25 ℃): 1.1–1.2 g/cm³

Dosing Instructions:

  • Typical dosage: 2–6 ppm, maximum 10 ppm
  • Dilute 10 times with desalinated water before use
  • Add the agent before the safety filter and calibrate the metering pump accordingly
  • Stir thoroughly for 15–20 minutes when preparing the solution
  • Clean dosing equipment regularly to prevent bacterial growth

Packaging and Storage:

  • Packaged in plastic barrels, 20–25 kg each
  • Stable chemical and physical properties
  • Store in a cool place, shelf life 2 years

Safety:

  • Wear appropriate protective gear to avoid skin and eye contact
  • Rinse immediately with plenty of water in case of contact

Chlorine Chemicals

Chlorine is a powerful disinfectant widely used in water treatment, wastewater treatment, and industrial applications to ensure safe and clean water. Various grades exist, but industries mostly use food-grade chlorine because it offers high purity and meets safety standards.

Calcium Hypochlorite (70%) is commonly used as a reliable source of chlorine. Avachlone, a leading manufacturer in China, produces high-quality 70% Calcium Hypochlorite widely used in the market.

Key Features:

  • Available in 35% and 70% concentrations for various applications
  • Strong oxidizing and disinfecting properties
  • Food-grade quality suitable for potable water and industrial use
  • Compatible with RO, UF, and NF systems when dosed correctly

Applications:

  • Drinking Water Treatment: Ensures microbial safety
  • Swimming Pools & Recreational Water: Algae control and sanitation
  • Industrial & Wastewater Treatment: Oxidation of contaminants and bleaching
  • Food & Beverage Industry: Water and surface sanitization

Benefits:

  • Ensures safe and hygienic water
  • Prevents biofilm formation and microbial growth
  • Prolongs equipment life by controlling scaling and fouling
  • Easy to handle, store, and dose with proper safety precautions

Safety Notes:

  • Use protective equipment to avoid skin and eye contact
  • Store in a cool, dry, ventilated place, away from sunlight and incompatible chemicals
